Standard Duty Tarp 11 ft 4 in x 24 ft 4 in
This polyethylene tarp measures 11 ft 4 in by 24 ft 4 in finished size with a 5.1 mil thickness. It is built for general-purpose coverage and protection in outdoor or job-site conditions. The heat-sealed seams and rope-reinforced edges add durability for standard duty use. Aluminum grommets spaced every 36 in provide secure tie-down points.
Waterproof mildew and tear resistant construction
The tarp is waterproof and resists mildew, tears and UV exposure for extended outdoor life. Its 3.4 oz/sq yd fabric weight balances strength with manageable handling. The material is not breathable, so moisture does not pass through the sheet. Black and brown colouring reduces glare and blends into most surroundings.
Replaces lighter sheets that rip or leak
This tarp upgrades from thinner poly sheets that tear at the grommets or let water seep through seams. The reinforced rope hem and heat sealing stop edge failure under wind load. The jump is worth it when a cover must survive weeks of sun, rain and repeated tie-downs. Buyers needing a breathable canvas or a heavy-duty vinyl laminate will not find those features here.

Questions about this item
How do I secure the tarp using the grommets spaced 36 in apart?
Thread rope or bungee cords through each aluminum grommet along the perimeter; the step people miss is tensioning every grommet evenly so wind cannot concentrate load on a single point.
What upkeep does the 3.4 oz/sq yd polyethylene need over time?
Rinse debris off the black-brown surface, check heat-sealed seams for separation, and replace the tarp once UV exposure makes the 5.1 mil material brittle.
Which limit appears first when the tarp faces continuous wind and sun?
The aluminum grommets at 36 in intervals will elongate or tear out before the tear-resistant polyethylene fails.
