Standard Duty Coverage

The Zoro Select 3ZRU8 is a polyethylene tarp built for general-purpose protection. It suits homeowners, contractors and anyone needing a waterproof barrier for equipment, materials or outdoor areas. The standard-duty rating fits routine covering tasks rather than heavy industrial use.

Finished Dimensions And Thickness

The finished size measures 7 ft 4 in by 9 ft 6 in, cut from an 8 by 10 ft sheet. At 5.1 mil thick with a 3.4 oz/sq yd fabric weight, it handles rain, mildew and UV exposure comfortably. Extreme wind loads or sharp abrasion will exceed its standard-duty capacity.

Heat-Sealed Seams And Aluminium Grommets

Heat-sealed seams and rope-reinforced edges add tear resistance across the surface. Aluminium grommets spaced every 36 in provide regular tie-down points for ropes or bungees. The black-and-brown colouring is non-breathable and not high-visibility, so it blends into backgrounds rather than marking hazards.

Questions about this item

Will the 36 in grommet spacing on this tarp line up with the tie-down points on my existing canopy frame?

The grommets are spaced 36 in apart along the finished edges of 7 ft 4 in by 9 ft 6 in, so you can measure your frame points against those intervals to confirm alignment.

How can I verify the 5.1 mil thickness is holding up after I secure the tarp outdoors?

Check that the heat-sealed seams remain bonded and the aluminium grommets show no tearing after tensioning; the polyethylene material is rated mildew, tear and UV resistant for standard-duty use.

Does the package include rope or bungee cords for the reinforced grommets, or must I buy them separately?

Only the tarp with heat-sealed seams and aluminium grommets is supplied; any tie-down rope, bungee cords or additional hardware must be purchased separately.
