Value Brand Standard Duty Tarp 5 ft 6 in x 7 ft 6 in 15 Mil Jade

Standard Duty Jade Tarp

This Zoro Select tarp measures 5 ft 6 in by 7 ft 6 in finished size and uses 15 mil polyester coated cotton canvas. It offers water resistant protection with mildew resistance for general outdoor coverage. Brass grommets spaced 24 in apart run along the double stitched seams for secure tie down points. The jade green colour provides low visibility in natural settings.

Installation and common issues

Lay the tarp flat and thread rope or bungee cords through the .5 in brass grommets spaced every 24 in. The double stitched seams resist tearing under tension but the standard duty rating means it is not suited for heavy wind or structural loads. Cotton canvas can shrink slightly when wet so allow slack when securing corners. Mildew resistance helps but prolonged damp storage will still degrade the fabric.

Check before ordering

Verify the finished dimensions of 5 ft 6 in by 7 ft 6 in match your coverage area since the cut size is larger at 6 x 8 ft. Ensure anchor points align with the 24 in grommet spacing for even tension. The material is breathable and not insulated so it will not block wind or retain heat. California Proposition 65 warnings apply for cancer and reproductive harm chemicals.
