Standard Duty Polyethylene Tarp
This blue polyethylene tarp measures 9 ft 6 in by 11 ft 4 in finished size and offers standard duty protection. It is suited for general covering tasks such as shielding equipment, firewood or ground sheets. The material is waterproof, flame resistant and treated against UV, mildew and tearing.
Heat Sealed Seams And Aluminium Grommets
Grommets are spaced every 36 in along the reinforced edges for tie down points. The heat sealed seam finish helps prevent delamination during installation. No special tools are required beyond rope or bungee cords, though the 5.1 mil thickness means the fabric is stiff in cold weather and can be awkward to fold alone.
5.1 Mil Thickness And 3.5 oz Fabric Weight
The 5.1 mil thickness and 3.5 oz per square yard weight define the standard duty rating. This specification decides whether the tarp will survive repeated abrasion or heavy snow loads. Buyers needing long term exposure or industrial tear strength should look for a heavier duty rating.
