Standard-Duty Canvas Tarp 7 ft 6 in x 15 ft 6 in

This tan cotton canvas tarp measures 7 ft 6 in by 15 ft 6 in finished size with a 20 mil thickness. It is built for standard-duty coverage and features brass grommets spaced 24 in apart. The fabric weighs 10 oz per square yard and offers mildew and UV resistance.

Double-Stitched Seams and Brass Grommets

Installation uses the 0.5 in inside-diameter brass grommets placed every 24 in along the perimeter. The double-stitched seam finish reinforces tie-down points to reduce tearing. Cotton canvas can shrink when wet, so allow slack when securing the tarp to avoid stress on the grommets.

Water-Resistant Breathable Coverage

The material is water resistant rather than fully waterproof, so heavy or pooling rain will penetrate over time. Breathable cotton allows airflow to reduce condensation underneath but does not block all moisture. This tarp suits temporary shelter or equipment covers where total waterproofing is not required.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the tarp is performing correctly once it's set up?

Check that the brass grommets spaced 24 inches apart hold tie-downs securely and that water beads on the surface rather than soaking through the 10 oz/sq yd cotton canvas.

What comes in the package and what must I purchase separately?

The tarp itself is included with its double-stitched seams and brass grommets; you will need to supply your own rope, bungee cords, or straps to fasten the 0.5 inch grommets.

Should I choose this 7 ft 6 in by 15 ft 6 in finished size or a different dimension?

Select this size when you need a standard-duty cover that measures 7 ft 6 in wide by 15 ft 6 in long after hemming, cut from an 8 by 16 ft canvas with 20 mil thickness.
