Value Brand Standard Duty Tarp 9 ft 6 in x 11 ft 6 in 20 Mil Green

9 ft 6 in x 11 ft 6 in Standard Duty Tarp

This green cotton canvas tarp measures 9 ft 6 in by 11 ft 6 in finished size with a 20 mil thickness. It is built for standard duty coverage using a 10 oz/sq yd fabric weight. Brass grommets are spaced every 24 in along the edges. The seams are double stitched for added durability.

Mildew resistance and water resistance under

The canvas material resists mildew growth during prolonged outdoor use. Its water resistant finish sheds moisture rather than absorbing it. The double stitched seams hold together under sustained tension from wind or tiedowns. Brass grommets resist corrosion better than steel alternatives over long periods.

Cotton canvas limits compared to synthetic tarps

Cotton canvas is breathable but not fully waterproof like polyethylene or vinyl options. It will absorb some water in heavy rain and becomes heavier when wet. The 20 mil thickness provides standard puncture resistance but not the tear strength of reinforced poly tarps. Buyers needing complete waterproofing or high tear resistance should consider other materials.
