Tarp 25 x 40 ft Standard Duty

This polyethylene tarp measures 25 by 40 feet cut size and finishes at 23 feet 10 inches by 39 feet 4 inches. It is built for general purpose coverage on construction sites, farms, or around the home. The brown and black coloring helps it blend into outdoor settings.

5.1 mil Thickness and 3.4 oz Weight

At 5.1 mil thick and 3.4 ounces per square yard, the sheet handles rain, wind, and sun exposure for seasonal tasks. It resists mildew, tearing, and UV damage while staying waterproof. Heavy loads, sharp edges, or multi-year permanent installation will exceed its standard duty rating.

Heat Sealed Seams and Aluminum Grommets

Seams are heat sealed and the edges are rope reinforced for added strength. Aluminum grommets placed every 36 inches give secure tie down points without rust. The material is not breathable and lacks high visibility markings, so plan ventilation and site safety separately.

Questions about this item

Will the 23 ft 10 in by 39 ft 4 in finished size cover the same ground as my old 25 x 40 ft tarp?

The finished size is 23 ft 10 in by 39 ft 4 in, which is smaller than the 25 x 40 ft cut size, so it will cover less ground than a tarp with a 25 x 40 ft finished size.

How can I verify the 5.1 mil thickness and 3.4 oz/sq yd fabric weight are performing as intended after setup?

Check that the heat-sealed seams hold without separation, the aluminum grommets at 36 in spacing remain secure under tension, and the surface sheds water without pooling or leakage.

What comes in the box and do I need to buy rope or tie-downs separately?

The tarp includes heat-sealed seams, rope-reinforced edges, and aluminum grommets every 36 in; rope, bungee cords, or other tie-downs are not included and must be purchased separately.
