Tower Light Sounder Tier 24VAC/DC 55mm

This 55 mm diameter tower light sounder tier operates on 24 V AC or DC and draws only 0.03 A at 0.7 W. It is designed for use with Menics 56 mm tower lights and adds an audible alert to existing visual signalling stacks. The black plastic housing measures 1.6 in in height and meets CE, cURs and RoHS standards.

Sound output range and environmental rating

The sounder produces an adjustable output from 10 dB to 85 dB in a continuous tone mode, suitable for indoor or covered outdoor locations. Its NEMA 4 rating means the enclosure protects against windblown dust, rain and hose-directed water, but it is not rated for prolonged submersion or high-pressure wash-down beyond the NEMA 4 test conditions.

Plastic housing, mounting and compliance

The lightweight plastic housing keeps installation simple on compatible 56 mm tower light bases, though it may be less resistant to heavy impact than metal alternatives. California Proposition 65 warnings apply because the product contains chemicals identified by the state as causing cancer and reproductive harm, a factor to consider for regulated workplaces.
