Multi-Vehicle High-Temperature Grease

Valvoline High Temperature Red Grease is a lithium-complex EP lubricant rated NLGI #2 GC-LB. The 14.1 oz cartridge fits standard grease guns for automotive service. It protects disc brake wheel bearings, suspension components, universal joints, steering linkages and chassis points. Professionals and DIY mechanics use it where extreme pressure and heat resistance are required.

Replaces Conventional Wheel-Bearing Grease

The jump is worthwhile when original-spec lubricants cannot handle sustained temperatures up to 375°F or heavy shock loads. Standard greases often soften or leak past seals under those conditions, leading to premature bearing wear. This formulation stays stable from 0°F to 375°F, extending relubrication intervals on disc-brake hubs and heavily loaded chassis points. It meets GM Part #1051344 and Chrysler MS-3701 recommendations.

Lithium-Complex Temperature Ceiling

Lithium-complex thickeners hold oil effectively to roughly 375°F; beyond that the base oil oxidises rapidly and the grease structure collapses. Continuous operation near the upper limit shortens service life even though the rating allows it. The cartridge delivers .44 kg of product in a 9.31-inch tube, but the grease itself cannot compensate for damaged seals, misaligned joints or contaminated assemblies. Users needing higher thermal stability must specify a different thickener chemistry.
