VALVOLINE Zerex Dexcool is a ready-to-use automotive antifreeze formulated for gasoline and diesel engines. It uses Organic Acid Technology to protect all cooling system metals, including aluminium, without silicates, phosphates, borates, nitrates or amines. The product is supplied in a one-gallon container. It is designed for drivers and workshops needing long-life corrosion protection.

Organic Acid Technology protection

The coolant contains no silicates, phosphates, borates, nitrates or amines, which reduces deposit formation and water-pump seal wear. Its inhibitor package minimises depletion over time, maintaining rust and corrosion protection for the cooling circuit. The formula is compatible with aluminium, cast iron, steel, copper and solder joints. It helps prevent boil-overs in summer and freeze-ups in winter.

Five-year or 150,000-mile service interval

The fluid is rated for up to five years or up to 150,000 miles of service before a complete flush and refill is required. Mixing with incompatible coolant types will reduce the protection interval and can cause gel formation. Users must verify the vehicle manufacturer specification before adding this product.
