VANDEL Grid Puffy Sleeve 13-14 inch

The VANDEL Grid Puffy Laptop Sleeve fits 13, 13.3 and most 14 inch laptops including MacBook Air, MacBook Pro 14, Dell XPS 13 and Lenovo ThinkPad X1 13. It also accommodates a 12.9 inch iPad Pro. The soft case uses Grid Sand fabric with a plush lining to protect devices during daily transport.

Waterproof fabric and magnetic closure

Waterproof fabric shields the laptop from spills or leaks inside a backpack. A magnetic flap secures the opening without zippers that can snag or scratch the device. The sleeve weighs .34 lb and measures 13.0 x 9.75 x 1.5 inches externally, adding minimal bulk to a bag.

Soft puff construction with wraparound bumper

The puffy Grid Puff fabric and soft plush lining cushion impacts while staying supple. A wraparound edge bumper guards corners and sides during handling. Internal dimensions of 14 x 9.25 x 1.5 inches hold most 13-14 inch ultrabooks, though devices thicker than 1.5 inches will not fit.

Questions about this item

How do I put my 13.3 inch laptop into the sleeve without catching the magnetic flap?

Slide the device in from the open side first, then fold the flap down so the magnets engage last; forcing the flap over the corners first can bend the 1.5 inch thick padding.

Will the Grid Sand fabric need re-waterproofing after a few months of daily commuting?

The waterproof fabric is integral to the puff construction and does not require spray reproofing; surface dirt wipes off with a damp cloth.

At what point does the 0.34 lb sleeve stop absorbing shock if I keep stacking books on top in a backpack?

The 1.5 inch puff layer compresses fully at roughly 5 kg of sustained pressure, after which the laptop feels the load directly.
