Rustic 11" LED Letter K

This decorative wall sign is crafted from hand-hammered channel steel with a rusted patina finish. The 11.25" tall letter K contains bright white LEDs that remain cool during operation. It suits anyone wanting personalised illuminated wall art for a home or office setting. Battery power and a built-in on/off switch allow placement without wiring.

Battery operation and mounting

Two AA batteries (not included) power the internal LED array rated for over 100 000 hours of use. The integrated on/off switch provides instant control without reaching for a wall socket. Pre-drilled holes on the back enable secure wall mounting, while the flat base lets non-curved letters stand freely on a shelf or tabletop.

Limits of battery-powered LED signage

Brightness and runtime depend entirely on the AA cells installed, so output will dim as batteries drain. The steel construction adds weight that requires appropriate wall fixings not supplied with the letter. Continuous illumination is not practical for very long periods without frequent battery changes, and the unit lacks a timer or remote control function.

Questions about this item

When will the LED system inside the 11.25" letter need replacement?

The integrated LEDs are rated for over 100,000 hours of use, so the light source itself should not require replacement for many years.

What limits continuous operation of the battery-powered letter?

Two AA batteries power the unit; runtime depends on battery capacity and they will need replacing when depleted.

Does the 11.25" steel letter produce noticeable heat or noise during all-day use?

The LEDs are described as cool to the touch and the unit has no moving parts, so it runs silently with minimal heat.
