Mid-Back Office Chair for Daily Desk Work

The Vandue Corporation Zuna is a mid-back task chair designed for home-office use. It pairs a steel base with solid caster wheels and a Class 3 gas lift for smooth height changes. A butterfly mechanism handles lift and tilt functions. Assembly is required before first use.

Upgrade from Basic Stools or Fixed-Height Seating

The adjustable seat height range of 18 to 22 inches replaces static stools and non-adjustable chairs that force a single posture. The jump is worth it when you share a desk with multiple users or shift between sitting and perching throughout the day. The 250 lb capacity covers most adult users without needing a heavy-duty model.

Breathable Mesh Back with Defined Dimensions

Airy mesh backing provides ventilation so you stay cool during long sessions. The chair footprint measures 23.6 by 21.7 inches and overall height adjusts from 36.6 to 40.6 inches, giving clear spatial limits for tight corners. Buyers who need a headrest, lumbar adjustment or a wider seat should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What floor clearance and base width does the steel base with solid caster wheels need?

The chair measures 23.6 inches wide by 21.7 inches deep, so allow at least that footprint plus room for the casters to swivel freely.

Which step in assembling the Class 3 gas lift and butterfly mechanism do people most often get wrong?

Insert the gas lift fully into the base column before seating the mechanism; a partial seat causes the height lever to feel loose and the chair to sink.

When should the mesh back, foam seat or caster wheels be inspected or replaced?

Check the mesh and foam for sagging and the casters for debris every six months; replace any part that no longer supports the 250 lb rating or rolls smoothly.
