Product and Audience

The Vanson V868 is an eight-bay charger for AA and AAA nickel-metal hydride or nickel-cadmium cells. It includes eight AA AccuLoop-X batteries rated at 2600 mAh and 1.2 Volt. The unit runs on 120V AC 60Hz input and delivers 2.8V DC output at 200 mA for AA and 80 mA for AAA. It suits households or offices that cycle many cells daily.

Who It Suits and Who It Does Not

This bundle fits users who want a single device to recharge two to eight cells in pairs and who value low-self-discharge batteries that hold 85 percent charge after a year. It is not for buyers who need to charge single cells independently, who require USB or DC vehicle input, or who want a charger that supports lithium-ion chemistries.

Deciding Specification

The built-in IC timer stops fast charging after 12 hours and switches to trickle current, so the charger must be unplugged before inserting a fresh batch to reset the timer. If your workflow demands continuous unattended charging without manual resets, this timer behaviour is the critical constraint.

The supplied AccuLoop-X AA cells are rated at 2600 mAh and 1.2 V, and the charger also handles AAA Ni-MH or Ni-Cd batteries of any compatible capacity.
