Capacity and intended use

Sustained write behaviour

Rated write speed reaches 35MB/s over UHS-I, with read speeds up to 80MB/s. The card is built for continuous recording loops and retains data across operating temperatures from 32 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit and storage temperatures from -13 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit.

Installation and common issues

A full-size SD adapter is included so the microSDXC card fits any device with a standard SD slot. Buyers whose hardware only accepts microSDHC cards up to 32GB should verify compatibility, as larger capacities will not be recognised.

Questions about this item

How much power does the card draw when recording continuously all day?

The card has no separate power draw figure; it is powered by the host device and meets UHS-I Class 10 and U3 ratings for sustained Full HD or 4K recording.

What device or adapter must I already have to use this microSDXC card?

You need a device with a microSDHC or microSDXC slot, or the included full-size SD adapter for equipment that only accepts standard SD cards.

Will this 32 GB card work reliably in an older dash cam that only supports Class 10?

Yes, the card is rated Class 10 and U3, so it is backward-compatible with older Class 10 devices while still delivering up to 80 MB/s read and 35 MB/s write speeds.
