LANC zoom rocker for tripod handles
The VariZoom VZ-RL100 provides a wide-sweep rocker for variable-speed zoom control on any camera with a LANC remote port. A dedicated record button and LED indicator show recording status and low-battery warnings. It mounts on most tripod handles, shoulder rigs or jibs for comfortable operation.
Check LANC port and cable reach
Verify that your camera has a LANC remote port before ordering. The controller can be extended with 10, 20, 50 or 100 foot cables, so measure the distance from your mounting point to the camera to choose the right length.
Clamp mounting and extension cables
The unit clamps onto standard tripod handles and rig tubing for secure day-to-day use. Extension cables plug in directly, allowing the rocker to stay fixed while the camera moves on a jib or slider.

Questions about this item
Does the VZ-RL100 include the LANC cable or must I buy one separately?
The controller includes its own cable; 10, 20, 50 or 100 foot extension cables are available separately if you need more reach.
Which cable length should I choose for my tripod setup?
Measure the distance from your tripod handle to the camera LANC port, then select the 10, 20, 50 or 100 foot cable that covers that run with a little slack.
What does the LED indicator actually show during a shoot?
The LED glows steadily when the camera is recording and flashes when the camera battery runs low, giving you a quick visual cue without taking your eye off the shot.
