Vaughan 67393 36 in hickory sledgehammer handle for 20 to 24 lb heads

36-inch hickory replacement handle

The Vaughan 67393 handle is a 36-inch hickory shaft supplied with wedges for fitting 20 to 24 lb sledgehammer heads. It serves professionals and DIY users who need a direct replacement for a broken or worn handle on heavy striking tools. The hickory construction provides traditional shock absorption during impact work.

Sustained heavy striking performance

Hickory grain structure dissipates repeated shock loads across long demolition or driving sessions without transmitting excessive vibration to the user. The wedged eye joint remains secure under continuous high-energy blows, reducing the chance of head loosening that can occur with lesser woods. This handle is not suited for lighter hammer heads below the 20 lb threshold.
