Product Identity
The Vaxcel 2255KK is a 24-inch steel downrod extension finished in black. It is intended for installers fitting compatible ceiling fans to 11-foot ceilings where a single rod of the correct length is required.
Thermal Noise Power
The steel construction provides structural strength without adding active cooling or electrical components. No power draw, fan noise or thermal output is generated by the rod itself.
Accessory Impact
The black finish coordinates with oil shale, oil rubbed bronze, oil burnished bronze, noble bronze, aged bronze and dark bronze fans. Downrods are not meant to be connected to each other, so one rod per fan must be chosen.

Questions about this item
How do I install the 24 in. steel downrod on my Vaxcel fan?
Thread the 0.75 in. diameter rod into the fan's mounting bracket and secure with the provided hardware; do not join multiple rods together.
Will the black finish on this 24 in. downrod need refinishing over time?
The steel construction resists wear; the black coating matches oil-rubbed and aged bronze fans without requiring touch-up.
What ceiling height limit makes this 24 in. rod the right choice?
It is designed for rooms with 11 foot ceilings; shorter or taller heights need a different rod length.
