Product Identity

The Vaxcel 7079RR is a ceiling fan remote control kit supplied in a white finish. It is intended for homeowners who want wireless control of a compatible Vaxcel ceiling fan without replacing the entire fixture.

Sustained Operation

The kit provides reliable wireless command for everyday fan-speed and light adjustments. Because it is a control accessory rather than a motor-driven appliance, thermal limits and duty-cycle ratings do not apply to its normal household use.

Compatibility Check

Before ordering, confirm that your existing Vaxcel fan is designed to accept the 7079RR receiver and transmitter pair. The kit will not function with fans from other brands or with Vaxcel models that use a different control protocol.

Questions about this item

Does the Vaxcel 7079RR remote control kit draw enough power to raise my electricity bill if the fan runs all day?

The remote control kit itself uses only a tiny standby current; the fan motor determines actual daily consumption.

What existing wiring or components must I already have in the ceiling box for the Vaxcel 7079RR kit to function?

You need a standard single-phase supply and a compatible ceiling fan with a receiver cavity; the kit supplies the handheld transmitter and the in-canopy receiver.

Will the Vaxcel 7079RR remote interfere with an older pull-chain fan I keep in the same room?

The kit operates on its own radio frequency, so it will not trigger or be triggered by a separate pull-chain fan.
