Vaxcel Chatham 1 Light Black Coastal Outdoor Wall Lantern Clear Glass kitchen accessory

Vaxcel Chatham Outdoor Wall Lantern

The Vaxcel Chatham is a single-light outdoor wall lantern finished in black with clear glass panels. Designed for coastal environments, it provides focused illumination for entryways, patios or garden paths. The fixture suits homeowners seeking a traditional lantern silhouette that withstands salt-air exposure while complementing a range of exterior styles.

Check mounting height and wiring access

Verify the intended mounting height matches the lantern's single-light output and that an outdoor-rated junction box is present at the installation point. Confirm the supply voltage matches the fixture rating and that local codes permit the chosen location relative to doors, windows and walkways. Ensure the mounting surface can support the lantern's weight and that clear glass panels are acceptable for the desired light distribution.

Sustained operation in coastal conditions

The black finish and clear glass are selected to resist corrosion and UV degradation during continuous outdoor exposure. Heat from the single lamp dissipates through the open-frame design, maintaining stable housing temperatures over extended evening use. Salt-spray resistance preserves both appearance and electrical integrity without performance drift across seasons.
