Dorado 15-in Outdoor Wall Light

The Vaxcel Dorado T0571 is a wet-rated outdoor wall lantern finished in a modern farmhouse style. A weather-resistant steel frame surrounds clear glass within an open metal cage. An integrated dusk-to-dawn photocell switches the fixture on at night and off in daylight. Mounting hardware and an instruction manual are included for straightforward installation.

Suited for covered porches, entryways and garages

This fixture fits spaces needing automatic, energy-saving illumination with a traditional barn-light look. The 15-in width and 23-in depth require adequate wall clearance. Builders needing a fixture without a photocell, or a different finish or glass style, should consider other ranges.

Single medium-base socket up to 60 watts

The lantern accepts one E26 medium-base bulb with a maximum rating of 60 watts and is compatible with LED lamps. The bulb is not supplied, so the buyer must provide a suitable lamp to complete the installation.

Questions about this item

What type of bulb socket does the 15-in. Dorado T0571 use?

It takes one E26 medium-base bulb up to 60 watts; LED equivalents are compatible.

Will the built-in photocell still operate if I keep my existing dusk-to-dawn timer on the same circuit?

The fixture’s own photo cell turns it on at dark and off at daylight; an external timer on the same line will not disable that function.

How can I verify the photocell is working after installation?

Cover the sensor completely — the light should illuminate within seconds — then uncover it and the light should switch off.
