Vaxcel Keepsake Pendant Light

Thermals noise and power draw

The supplier data provides no thermal, acoustic or electrical figures for this pendant light. Buyers who need wattage limits, operating temperatures or noise ratings will not find them here.

Upgrade context

This fixture replaces an existing porch or entryway light with a similar mounting arrangement. The jump is worth it when the current fitting is worn, mismatched in style or lacks the honey opal glass shade. It does not address needs for higher lumen output or smart-home integration.

Questions about this item

How is the 7.25" pendant light installed, and what step do people often get wrong?

Mount the fixture to a standard ceiling box using the supplied hardware, then connect wires. The step often missed is tightening the set-screw that locks the stem to the canopy so the lantern hangs straight.

What maintenance will the honey opal glass and oil burnished bronze finish need later?

Wipe the glass with a soft cloth and mild soap when it looks dull. The bronze develops a natural patina; if you prefer the original tone, apply a clear metal wax once a year.

What limit appears first under sustained outdoor use?

The gasket around the glass can harden after several seasons of heat and UV, letting moisture reach the socket. Inspect it each spring and replace if it feels brittle.
