Product Identity

The Vaxcel Sierra is a 16in flush mount ceiling light finished in black walnut. It suits homeowners and designers who want a low-profile decorative fixture for hallways, bedrooms or smaller living areas. Buyers who need adjustable colour temperature, integrated smart controls or a larger diameter for high-ceiling rooms will not find those features here.

Sustained Operation

The fixture accepts standard medium-base bulbs up to 120 watts total, so heat output remains consistent with the lamps chosen. With no built-in driver or dimming module, thermal behaviour depends entirely on the bulb type installed and the ceiling cavity ventilation. Long-term reliability is therefore tied to lamp selection rather than onboard electronics.

Build and Mounting

The black walnut finish provides a warm wood tone that coordinates with traditional or transitional décor. A flush-mount canopy sits close to the ceiling, leaving minimal gap for dust accumulation and simplifying cleaning. Installation follows standard junction-box mounting, requiring no specialised hardware or additional clearance beyond the 16in diameter.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the 16in flush mount produce when it runs all day?

The fixture itself generates no noise; any warmth comes only from the bulbs you install and will vary with their wattage and type.

What must I already own for the Vaxcel Sierra to function?

You need a standard ceiling junction box, mounting hardware, and compatible light bulbs with the correct base and wattage for the fixture.

Will the 16in black walnut unit match the finish of older Vaxcel fixtures I already have?

The Black Walnut finish is specific to this model; older Vaxcel pieces may use different stain tones or materials, so an exact match is not guaranteed.
