Nautical Coastal Design

The Harwich Bronze wall light kit brings a New England coastal aesthetic to exterior spaces with its iconic nautical-style construction. The fixture measures 8.25 inches wide by 9 inches high by 11 inches deep and is designed for outdoor wall mounting. It suits homeowners seeking a decorative security light that blends traditional coastal architecture with modern motion-activated convenience.

Dual-Level Security Upgrade

This fixture replaces basic single-output porch lights by adding Dualux dual-level illumination with a built-in dusk-to-dawn photocell. The system provides continuous bright light for early evening hours, then automatically dims to ambient output until dawn. An adjustable 180-degree motion sensor triggers on-demand bright illumination up to 40 feet when movement is detected, offering a significant jump in perimeter awareness over static lighting.

Straightforward Wall Installation

The kit mounts to a standard junction box using a medium base socket for one 60 watt bulb, which is not included. The photocell automates daily on-off cycles while a convenient timer selects continuous bright duration of 0, 3, or 6 hours. Compatibility with most dimmable LED bulb models allows efficiency tuning, though the fixture requires a neutral wire connection that some older switch loops lack.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions I need to clear on the wall for the 8.25 in W x 9 in H x 11 in D Harwich Bronze fixture?

Allow 8.25 inches wide, 9 inches high and 11 inches deep on a flat exterior wall; the coastal-style backplate mounts directly to a standard junction box with no extra bracket required.

How do I set the 180-degree motion sensor and the 0, 3 or 6 hour timer without losing the dusk-to-dawn photocell function?

Wire the fixture normally, then use the sensor head dials: first choose detection distance up to 40 feet, next pick the timer duration, and leave the photocell switch on so it still powers off at dawn.

When the 60 watt medium-base LED bulb eventually fails, can I simply swap it or does the sealed coastal housing need disassembly?

The glass panel hinges open with two captive screws; replace the bulb from the front in seconds without removing the whole fixture from the wall.
