Kinzie Black Motion Sensor Wall Light

The Vaxcel T0599 Kinzie is a textured black outdoor wall light with clear glass panels and an integrated 180 degree motion sensor. It is designed for covered porches, entryways, garages and similar residential exteriors where dusk-to-dawn operation and on-demand brightness are required.

Surface mount with E26 bulb access

Installation uses a standard wall-mount bracket wired to a junction box; the fixture accepts one 60 watt E26 medium base bulb which is not included. The main difficulty is aligning the photocell and sensor window away from shade or reflective surfaces that cause false triggering or prevent the dusk-to-dawn cycle from starting.

Dual-level dusk-to-dawn output

A built-in photocell turns the light on at dark and off at daylight, running at a lower standby level until the motion sensor detects movement up to 40 feet away. The timer then holds full brightness for a selectable 0, 3 or 6 hour period before returning to dim mode. The weather resistant steel housing sustains this cycle continuously without thermal shutdown.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 180 degree motion sensor is detecting movement correctly after installation?

Walk across the detection zone up to 40 feet away; the light should brighten instantly when the sensor registers motion, then return to the lower dusk-to-dawn level after the timer expires.

What comes in the box and which bulb do I need to buy separately?

The fixture includes the weather-resistant steel housing with clear glass panels, built-in photocell and motion sensor; you must purchase one 60 watt E26 medium-base bulb, LED compatible, separately.

Which timer setting — 0, 3 or 6 hours — should I choose for typical overnight security?

Select 6 hours if you want the light to stay at full brightness for an extended period after motion is detected; choose 3 hours for a shorter burst, or 0 hours for dusk-to-dawn only with no bright-hold timer.
