Rigid Acrylic Shield for 15.6-Inch Keyboards

The Veemoon cover is a hard-shell acrylic protector built to sit over the keyboard deck of a 15.6-inch laptop or compact mechanical keyboard. Its 40 mm internal height creates a bridge that stops cats and other pets from pressing keys while keeping backlit legends fully visible through the transparent material.

Verify Deck Dimensions and Port Clearance

Measure your device to confirm the 400 mm by 265 mm footprint covers the key area without overhanging the trackpad or blocking side ports. The 40 mm rise requires enough lid clearance to close the laptop or rest palms comfortably, so check the hinge gap and wrist-rest height before ordering.

Single-Piece Cover Ships Ready to Use

The package contains one acrylic protector with no adhesives, clips or cleaning kit included. Installation is simply placing the cover over the keys; removal is lifting it off. No software, drivers or additional hardware are supplied or required.

Questions about this item

Does the 15.6 inch acrylic keyboard cover come with anything else in the box besides the cover itself?

The package includes one acrylic keyboard protector only. No mounting hardware, cleaning cloth or additional accessories are supplied, so nothing extra needs to be bought separately for basic use.

How do I know if the 400x265x40mm cover will fit my 15.6 inch laptop or compact mechanical keyboard?

Measure your keyboard area; the cover suits most standard 15.6 inch laptops and TKL, 60% or 75% mechanical keyboards. The 40mm height bridges the keys without touching them, but confirm your deck dimensions against 400mm width and 265mm depth first.

What does the 40mm height actually do when the cover is sitting on my laptop?

The 40mm clearance creates a rigid bridge over the keycaps, so a cat stepping on the acrylic cannot depress any keys. It also keeps dust and spills off the keyboard while leaving the screen and trackpad fully accessible.
