16-Button Wireless Gaming Mouse

The VEGCOO C9 is a right-handed optical gaming mouse with 16 programmable buttons and three selectable DPI levels up to 3200. It connects via 2.4 GHz wireless or USB wired operation and includes a built-in 400 mAh lithium battery. Chroma RGB lighting cycles automatically and can be disabled. A dedicated desktop-return key and two side buttons add extra shortcuts.

Gamers needing many macros; not for left-handers

The high button count suits MMO and MOBA players who map numerous abilities, while the adjustable grip and thumb rest support long sessions. Left-handed users cannot use the shaped thumb rest. Buyers who want a lighter mouse or a lower maximum sensitivity should look elsewhere. The sensor is optical with no additional tracking technologies listed.

Fits PC, Mac, Linux, Chromebook via USB port

The mouse requires an available USB port for the included 2.4 GHz receiver and charges over the same cable while in use. Battery life reaches roughly one week per charge at 10 metres range. RGB lighting draws from the same cell, so disabling it extends runtime. No software installation is mentioned, so button remapping may rely on onboard controls only.

Questions about this item

What USB port do I need on my computer for the VEGCOO C9 receiver?

The mouse requires a standard USB port for its 2.4 GHz wireless receiver; the spec sheet lists USB port as the only system requirement.

Will the side buttons and DPI switch still work if I plug the receiver into a USB 2.0 port on an older PC?

Yes, the 2.4 GHz link and all 16 buttons function over USB 2.0; the three DPI steps 1200, 2400 and 3200 are handled on the mouse itself.

How can I confirm the 3200 DPI setting is active after I press the DPI button?

Press the DPI button to cycle through the three levels; the RGB lighting changes colour for each step, letting you verify the current sensitivity.
