Smart Lock for Multi-tenant Properties

The Veise VE017 is a fingerprint smart door lock finished in matte black. It suits front, back and side doors in homes, apartments, hotels, garages, offices and short-stay rentals. The KK Home app provides remote user management, letting you grant, pause or delete access from anywhere. Detailed activity logs record every entry for full transparency.

Check Door Prep and Gateway Needs

Verify that your door thickness and bore holes match the lock's mechanical template before ordering. The lock includes built-in Wi-Fi for direct app control, but voice commands via Alexa or Google Assistant require a separate G1 gateway. Five physical fob cards are supplied for users who prefer not to use the app or fingerprint sensor.

Replaces Traditional Keyed Deadbolts

This unit replaces a standard mechanical deadbolt and adds keyless entry through fingerprint, code, fob card, app or mechanical key backup. Auto-lock timing is adjustable from 1 to 180 seconds directly in the app. The upgrade is worthwhile for landlords and hosts who need remote credential management without rekeying. Not suited for doors without an existing deadbolt cut-out or for buyers who want a mortise-style lock body.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the Veise VE017 and what must be purchased separately?

The lock includes the fingerprint smart door lock unit and mechanical keys; the G1 or G2 gateway for voice control with Alexa or Google Assistant is sold separately.

Which version of the Veise VE017 should I choose for a rental property versus a family home?

The single model supports multi-tenant management via the KK Home app, letting you create scheduled access plans for tenants, cleaners or family members and revoke them remotely at any time.

What does the 180-second auto-lock timer mean in daily use?

You can set the door to lock automatically between 1 and 180 seconds after it closes, so the entrance secures itself without you having to remember to turn the thumb-turn or use the app.
