12x17 Black Frame for Wall Display

The Veleclo 12x17 black picture frame holds prints sized 12 by 17 inches behind shatter‑resistant plexiglass. A lightweight PVC moulding keeps the profile minimal while protecting artwork from breakage. It suits renters, families and anyone wanting a safe, low‑maintenance way to show photos or posters on a wall.

Upgrade from Thin Plastic or Clip Frames

This frame replaces flimsy snap‑together borders or magnetic clip holders that bow over time. The rigid PVC backing and included hardware keep the picture flat and secure in both vertical and horizontal orientations. The jump is worth it when you want a single piece that stays straight without constant readjustment.

Simple Hang‑And‑Level Installation

Two‑way hanging hardware is supplied so you can mount the frame portrait or landscape with one nail or hook each side. The plexiglass ships with a protective film that must be peeled off before use; forgetting this step leaves a hazy surface. No tools beyond a hammer and level are required for a secure fit.

Questions about this item

What wall fixings are needed for the 17 in x 12 in x 0.99 in black plastic frame?

The frame includes hanging hardware for both vertical and horizontal mounting; you only need suitable wall plugs and screws for your wall type.

How do I open the back to insert a picture, and what mistake should I avoid?

Flex the plastic backing tabs outward to release the shatter-resistant plexiglass and backing board; do not force the tabs or they can snap.

Can the plexiglass be replaced if it gets scratched, and what size should I order?

Yes, the glazing is removable; order a 12 x 17 inch shatter-resistant plexiglass sheet to match the frame opening.
