Dedicated Lens Hood for Canon EF-S 15-85mm

The Vello EW-78E is a dedicated lens hood built specifically for the Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens. It attaches via a bayonet mount that matches the lens precisely. The petal shape provides maximum shading coverage for the lens's angle of view. A non-glare matte interior finish further reduces internal reflections.

Suited for owners of this exact Canon zoom seeking

Photographers using the Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM will benefit from reduced stray light and added front-element protection. The hood also shields the lens from rain or dust during outdoor shooting. Buyers with any other lens, including different Canon focal lengths or mounts, cannot use this hood because the bayonet and angle of view are model-specific.

Reversible bayonet enables compact storage

The bayonet mount works in the reversed position so the hood stores backwards over the barrel without removal. This keeps the accessory attached and ready while reducing packed length in a bag. No separate pouch or cap is required for transport. The matte interior coating remains effective whether the hood is deployed or stored.
