18 AWG Red Butt Splice Connectors

These Velvac 30130 connectors accept wires from 22 AWG to 18 AWG and come in a pack of 10. The red nylon insulation with heat-shrink tubing provides a sealed crimp joint for automotive and industrial wiring.

Heat-shrink insulation seals the joint

Each connector uses a brazed-seam copper barrel covered by polyolefin heat-shrink nylon that shrinks when heated. The tubing creates a moisture-resistant seal and adds strain relief without separate tape or tubing.

600 V and 221 °F operating limits

The connectors are UL listed and CSA certified for up to 600 volts and a maximum temperature of 221 degrees Fahrenheit. Builders working above those ratings or needing larger wire gauges must choose a different part.
