Core specification

The Velztorm Aciex is a pre-built gaming desktop PC powered by a 14th Gen Intel Core i9-14900K processor with 24 cores and 32 threads, paired with an AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card. It includes 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD, all cooled by a 360mm AIO liquid cooler and driven by a 1000W power supply running Windows 10 Home.

Target audience

This system suits gamers and creators who want a ready-to-use high-performance machine with dual graphics capability, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, and ample fast storage for large libraries. Buyers who need more than 16GB of memory, additional internal drive bays, or a newer operating system than Windows 10 Home should look at other configurations.

Deciding specification

The single specification that decides fit is the 16GB DDR5 memory capacity, which is fixed at 4800MHz and cannot be assumed to be upgradeable without verifying the motherboard details not provided here.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the i9-14900K with 24 cores or a lower-core option for this Aciex build?

The Aciex ships only with the 24-core i9-14900K; there is no alternative CPU listed for this model.

What does the 6.0 GHz boost clock mean once the PC is running games?

The processor can reach 6.0 GHz on up to eight performance cores when thermal headroom allows, giving short bursts of single-thread speed.

How fast is the PCIe NVMe interface on the 4 TB drive in practice?

The 4 TB SSD uses a PCIe NVMe connection; real-world throughput will follow the drive's own rated speeds rather than a bus limit.
