Argentux Gaming Desktop with RTX 3070

This Velztorm Argentux system pairs a 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10700F processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card carrying 8GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 16GB DDR4 RAM and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD. A 360mm AIO liquid cooler and 750W power supply support the components inside a white chassis running Windows 10 Pro.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

The eight-core CPU and RTX 3070 handle 1440p gaming and content creation workloads. Buyers who want more storage than the single 1TB NVMe drive provides should consider other configurations. Systems built for newer processor generations or higher memory capacities are not this model.

Deciding specification: RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6

The graphics card determines whether this desktop meets your performance target. Its 8GB GDDR6 frame buffer and PCIe 4.0 interface set the ceiling for texture quality and ray-traced titles at 1440p. If your workload needs more video memory or a newer GPU architecture, this is not the right system.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10700F is reaching its 4.8 GHz boost clock after setup?

Open Task Manager's Performance tab or a hardware monitor like HWInfo and run a demanding game or benchmark; the CPU frequency should show values approaching 4.8 GHz on active cores while temperatures stay within safe limits under the 360mm AIO liquid cooler.

Which components are included in the box and which must be purchased separately for the Velztorm Argentux VELZ0014?

The desktop tower arrives with the i7-10700F, RTX 3070 8GB, chosen DDR4 RAM and NVMe SSD, 750W PSU, 360mm AIO cooler, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, Windows 10 Pro and RGB fans pre-installed; you only need to add a monitor, keyboard and mouse.

Which configuration should I choose between the 16GB and 32GB DDR4 options for 1440p gaming on the RTX 3070?

Select 32GB DDR4 if you stream, run background apps or want headroom for newer titles; 16GB DDR4 is sufficient for current games at 1440p but leaves less multitasking buffer.
