High-performance AMD Ryzen 9 desktop

The Velztorm Armix CTO is a new gaming desktop built around a 12-core AMD Ryzen 9 7900X processor with 64MB L3 cache and boost clocks up to 5.6GHz. It targets enthusiasts who need strong multi-threaded performance for gaming, streaming and content creation workloads. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed.

240mm AIO cooling and extensive I/O

A 240mm liquid CPU cooler with RGB lighting handles thermals inside a black chassis powered by a 1000W supply. Connectivity includes WiFi 6 MT7921, Bluetooth 5.3, wired Ethernet, seven USB 3.1 Gen2 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.1 Type-C Gen1 ports, HDMI, DisplayPort and a combo audio jack. No optical drive is fitted.

16GB DDR5 and 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD baseline

The system ships with 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD, both user-expandable to 128GB RAM and larger solid-state or mechanical storage. Buyers who want more memory bandwidth or capacity beyond the factory configuration should plan an upgrade. The GeForce RTX 3060 Ti with 8GB GDDR6 suits 1440p gaming but limits 4K high-refresh scenarios.

Questions about this item

What PCIe generation does the RTX 3060 Ti graphics card use, and what bandwidth does that provide?

The GeForce RTX 3060 Ti connects via PCIe 4.0, delivering up to 8 GB/s per lane for the 8 GB GDDR6 frame buffer.

What clearance is required for the 240 mm AIO liquid cooler inside the case?

The 240 mm radiator needs two fan mounting points, typically on the top or front panel, plus room for the pump block above the CPU socket.

How is the 2 TB PCIe NVMe SSD installed, and what step is often missed?

The drive slots into the motherboard M.2 socket and is secured with a single screw; people often forget to install the screw, leaving the drive loose.
