System purpose

The Velztorm Armix is a pre-built gaming desktop configured for users who want a high-core-count processor and modern memory without assembling parts themselves. It ships with Windows 10 Home installed and includes a 240 mm liquid cooler for the CPU.

Deciding specification

The graphics card is a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti with 8 GB of GDDR6 memory on a PCIe 4.0 interface. Buyers who need more video memory or a newer GPU architecture should look at a different system.

Sustained behaviour

A 1000 W power supply and the 240 mm AIO cooler are sized to keep the 12-core processor and the graphics card stable during extended sessions. The DDR5 memory runs at its rated speed without throttling under continuous load.
