Velztorm Armix Gaming Desktop

This Velztorm Armix desktop is a new gaming system built around a 12-core AMD Ryzen 9 7900X processor and a GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card with 8GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed for immediate use.

RTX 3070 PCIe 4.0 Interface Limits

The graphics card uses a PCIe 4.0 x16 connection, so bandwidth halves if the motherboard only supports PCIe 3.0. DirectX 12 and G-SYNC support depend on a compatible monitor and cable. VR readiness requires the headset to meet its own USB and video port specifications.

12-Core Ryzen 9 7900X Decides Fit

The 7900X runs at 4.7 GHz base with a 5.6 GHz boost across 12 cores and 24 threads, backed by 64MB L3 cache. This core count and clock profile targets high-frame-rate gaming and multi-threaded workloads. Buyers who need more cores or higher sustained clocks should consider a different processor tier.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 16GB, 32GB, 64GB or 128GB DDR5 option for the Armix?

32GB DDR5 suits most modern games and multitasking; 16GB can limit background apps, while 64GB or 128GB only help heavy content creation or virtual machines.

What does the Ryzen 9 7900X 12-core 4.7GHz base clock deliver in a real gaming desktop?

The 12-core processor runs at 4.7GHz base and boosts to 5.6GHz, giving strong single-thread speed for high frame rates and 24 threads for streaming or rendering alongside play.

How does the GeForce RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6 PCIe 4.0 interface perform inside this system?

The card uses a PCIe 4.0 x16 link, so the 8GB GDDR6 memory feeds the GPU at full bandwidth without bus bottlenecks, enabling VR-ready frame rates at 1440p.
