Velztorm Armix Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Armix is a new gaming desktop built around a 12-core Ryzen 9 7900X processor and a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card. It ships with Windows 10 Home and includes a 240mm AIO liquid cooler with RGB lighting. This system targets players who want a high-core-count CPU in a ready-to-use chassis.

RTX 3050 8GB GDDR6 Graphics

The installed GeForce RTX 3050 provides 8GB of GDDR6 memory on a PCIe 4.0 interface with DirectX 12 and G-SYNC support. This card determines the resolution and detail settings achievable in modern titles. Buyers who need higher frame rates at 1440p or 4K should consider a different graphics tier.

1TB PCIe NVMe SSD Storage

The 1TB PCIe NVMe solid-state drive holds the operating system and a modest game library. No mechanical hard drive is included, so total capacity is limited to this single drive. Users with large media collections or many large titles will need to add secondary storage.

Questions about this item

What does the Ryzen 9 7900X 4.7 GHz base clock with 5.6 GHz boost mean for real-world gaming and multitasking?

The 12-core, 24-thread processor runs at 4.7 GHz base and can boost to 5.6 GHz, giving strong single-thread speed for games and plenty of parallel threads for streaming or rendering.

How does the PCIe 4.0 interface on the RTX 3050 affect graphics performance in this system?

The RTX 3050 uses a PCIe 4.0 x16 link, so the card can transfer assets at the full bandwidth the platform provides without being bottlenecked by an older generation.

What clearance and mounting points does the 240 mm AIO liquid cooler need inside the case?

The 240 mm radiator fits standard dual-fan mounting locations on the top or front panel, and the pump block aligns with the AM5 socket keep-out zone.
