Velztorm Armix gaming desktop

The Velztorm Armix is a new gaming desktop built around a 12-core Ryzen 9 7900X processor and a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card. It ships with 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD for fast storage. A 240mm AIO liquid cooler and 1000W power supply support the high-performance components.

Suits 1440p gamers and creators; not for 4K ultra

This system suits players targeting high frame rates at 1440p resolution and content creators who need 12 cores and 24 threads for rendering or streaming. The 8GB GDDR6 frame buffer on the RTX 3060 Ti limits 4K ultra settings in modern titles. Buyers who want more storage than a single 1TB drive provides should look at a different configuration.

Verify monitor inputs and OS preference

Confirm your display has HDMI or DisplayPort inputs to match the graphics card outputs. The PC includes seven USB 3.1 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.1 Type-C ports and a combo audio jack for peripherals. It arrives with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit installed; check whether you require Windows 11 Pro instead.

Questions about this item

Do I need to buy a monitor separately for the Velztorm Armix desktop?

Yes, the system ships without a display so you must provide your own monitor with HDMI or DisplayPort input.

Will my older USB 2.0 keyboard and mouse work with the seven USB 3.1 Gen2 and four USB 2.0 ports on this PC?

The four USB 2.0 ports accept legacy devices directly, and the USB 3.1 Gen2 ports are backward compatible with USB 2.0 peripherals.

How can I confirm the 32GB DDR5 memory is running at the correct speed after first boot?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, click Memory and verify the reported speed matches the DDR5 specification for this platform.
