Velztorm Erebix Ryzen 3 3100 gaming desktop

This Velztorm Erebix system combines a 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen 3 3100 quad-core processor with a GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card. It ships with 32GB DDR4 memory and a 4TB PCIe SSD. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed and a 750W power supply drives the components. The chassis uses air cooling and includes Wi-Fi and wired Ethernet.

Suits 1440p gaming; not for heavy multi-thread

The eight-thread CPU and RTX 3070 handle modern titles at high settings, while 32GB RAM supports streaming or light content creation. Buyers who need more cores for rendering, compilation or virtualisation should consider a different platform. The 802.11n wireless link is slower than modern Wi-Fi standards.

4TB PCIe SSD decides storage capacity

A single 4TB PCIe NVMe drive holds the operating system, applications and a large game library without extra drives. Users who want separate OS and data volumes or more than four terabytes will need to add storage themselves.

Questions about this item

Will the Ryzen 3 3100 and RTX 3070 work with my older DDR4 memory and PCIe 3.0 motherboard if I move parts between systems?

The desktop uses 32GB DDR4 and the RTX 3070 runs on PCIe 4.0, which is backward compatible with PCIe 3.0 slots, so older DDR4 modules and motherboards will function, though the GPU will operate at PCIe 3.0 speeds.

How can I verify the RTX 3070 is running at PCIe 4.0 x16 and the 32GB DDR4 is recognised at full capacity after first boot?

Open Task Manager's Performance tab to confirm 32GB memory shows and GPU-Z to verify the RTX 3070 reports PCIe 4.0 x16 link width and 8GB GDDR6.

What accessories are included in the box and which items such as a monitor or optical drive must be purchased separately?

The system ships with the desktop tower, 750W power supply, air CPU cooler, Windows 10 Pro licence, Wi-Fi antenna, keyboard and mouse; no monitor, webcam or optical drive is included.
