System foundation

The Velztorm Erebix is a pre-built gaming desktop assembled around an AMD Ryzen 3 3100 quad-core processor running at 3.60 GHz with a 3.9 GHz boost and 16 MB cache. It targets gamers who want a ready-to-play Windows 11 Home machine with a GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card and 64 GB of DDR4 memory.

Graphics upgrade path

The RTX 3070 with 8 GB GDDR6 replaces entry-level or older mid-range GPUs and adds DirectX 12, VR Ready and G-SYNC support. The jump is worth it when 1080p or 1440p titles demand more frame-rate headroom than integrated or previous-generation discrete graphics can deliver.

Storage and memory headroom

A 4 TB PCIe NVMe SSD and 64 GB DDR4 provide generous space for large game libraries, media projects and multitasking workloads. The configuration runs out when workloads need more than 64 GB of system memory or faster storage interfaces than the installed drive supports.

Questions about this item

Will the 8.75 in wide by 17.5 in tall case fit on my desk shelf?

The chassis measures 8.75 inches wide, 16 inches deep and 17.5 inches high and weighs 20.9 lb, so check your shelf clearance and load rating before placing it.

Does the RTX 3070 need a separate power cable from the 750W PSU?

The graphics card draws power through PCIe connectors supplied by the 750 watt unit; connect both required cables before first boot or the system will not post.

Can I add more DDR4 memory later if 64GB is not enough?

The board uses DDR4 DIMM slots; populate any free slots with matching DDR4 modules to expand capacity beyond the installed 64GB.
