Erebix Ryzen 3 3100 desktop

The Velztorm Erebix is a pre-built gaming desktop built around a 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen 3 3100 quad-core processor running at 3.60GHz with a 3.9GHz boost. It ships with a GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card, 64GB of DDR4 memory and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 10 Pro is installed and a monitor is not included.

Air cooling and 750W supply

An air-cooled CPU cooler handles the processor while the 750W power supply feeds the graphics card and other components. The system uses 802.11n Wi-Fi and a wired RJ-45 Ethernet port for network connectivity. No optical drive is fitted, reducing internal cable clutter and power draw.

Black chassis with front USB-C

The black desktop case measures 8.75in wide by 16in deep by 17.5in high and weighs 20.9lb. Front-panel I/O provides two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, a USB 3.2 Type-C Gen1 port, four USB 2.0 ports, a headphone jack and a microphone jack. Rear video output includes one HDMI connector from the graphics card.

Questions about this item

How is the 64GB DDR4 memory installed, and what step do builders often miss?

The 64GB DDR4 DIMMs plug into the motherboard slots; the step often missed is seating each module until the retention clips click on both ends.

What maintenance or replacement will the air cooling CPU cooler need later?

The air cooling CPU cooler will need periodic dust removal from its heatsink and fan, and the thermal paste should be reapplied every few years for optimal heat transfer.

What limit appears first on the 750W power supply under sustained gaming loads?

The 750W power supply will hit its maximum continuous output before the Ryzen 3 3100 or RTX 3070 reach their thermal ceilings during extended heavy workloads.
