Built for heavy multitasking

The Velztorm Ferrux pairs a 12-core Ryzen 9 5900X running up to 4.8 GHz with 128GB DDR4 and a 4TB NVMe SSD. It targets creators and power users who need large memory capacity and fast storage for simultaneous workloads. The GeForce RTX 3050 with 8GB GDDR6 handles display output and light GPU tasks.

Thermals and power

A 240mm AIO liquid cooler manages CPU heat while the graphics card uses a triple-fan WINDFORCE 3X design. The system draws power from a 750W supply. Windows 10 Home is installed with a Windows 11 Pro upgrade path available.

Connectivity and chassis

The black desktop chassis provides 2 USB 3.0 Type-A, 4 USB 3.1 Gen2, 2 USB 2.0 and a USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2 port plus HDMI and DisplayPort video outputs. Wired Ethernet is included. No Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, card reader or optical drive are fitted.

Questions about this item

How is the 240 mm AIO liquid CPU cooler installed, and what step do people get wrong?

The 240 mm AIO arrives pre-filled and pre-mounted on the Ryzen 9 5900X; the step people miss is removing the protective film from the cold-plate before securing the radiator fans to the case.

What maintenance or replacement will the 240 mm AIO liquid CPU cooler need later?

The sealed loop requires no coolant top-ups; plan to clean dust from the radiator fins every 6–12 months and replace the unit only if pump noise appears or temperatures rise under load.

What limit shows up first on the GeForce RTX 3050 8 GB GDDR6 under sustained gaming?

The 8 GB GDDR6 frame buffer fills before the GPU core hits its ceiling, so texture-heavy titles at 1440p will throttle frame rates once VRAM is exhausted.
