Gaming desktop with a 12-core Ryzen 9 5900X, RTX 3050 graphics, 32GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD
The Velztorm Ferrux is a new desktop PC built around a 12-core AMD Ryzen 9 5900X processor running at 3.70 GHz up to 4.8 GHz with 64 MB L3 cache. It includes 32 GB DDR4 memory and a 1 TB PCIe NVMe SSD. A GeForce RTX 3050 with 8 GB GDDR6 provides graphics output through HDMI and DisplayPort.
The RTX 3050 uses a PCIe 4.0 x8 interface rather than the full x16 width. On this platform the CPU provides PCIe 4.0 lanes so the link operates at the card's maximum speed, but the reduced lane count can become a bottleneck in workloads that stream large texture sets across the bus. The 8 GB GDDR6 frame buffer also caps the resolution and texture quality practical in modern titles.
The processor delivers 12 cores and 24 threads with a 4.8 GHz maximum boost clock. This core count drives compile times, rendering and heavy multitasking far beyond 6-core or 8-core alternatives. Buyers who need more than 12 cores for sustained parallel workloads should consider a workstation platform instead.

Other versions of this model
The 32GB DDR4 configuration suits most gaming and multitasking workloads; 16GB is the minimum for modern titles, while 64GB or 128GB only benefit heavy content creation or virtualization.
Twelve cores at up to 4.8 GHz deliver high frame rates in CPU-bound scenes and smooth background streaming, while the 64MB L3 cache reduces latency in open-world engines.
The RTX 3050 uses a PCIe 4.0 x8 electrical link, so the slot provides ample bandwidth; the 8GB GDDR6 frame buffer caps texture detail at 1440p ultra settings.
