Ready-to-game desktop with 12-core Ryzen 9

The Velztorm Ferrux arrives as a complete Windows 10 Pro system built around a 12-core AMD Ryzen 9 5900X processor running up to 4.8 GHz with 64 MB L3 cache. It targets buyers who want a pre-assembled machine for gaming and entertainment without selecting individual parts.

Graphics card decides 1080p fit

A GeForce RTX 3050 with 8 GB GDDR6 memory and PCIe 4.0 interface handles DirectX 12 Ultimate titles at 1080p resolution. Buyers who want higher frame rates at 1440p or 4K need a more powerful GPU than this configuration provides.

750 W unit powers CPU and GPU together

The included 750 W supply drives the 240 mm AIO liquid cooler on the processor and the WINDFORCE 3X cooler on the graphics card. Four USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, two USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen 2 port, HDMI, DisplayPort and a combo audio jack leave room for peripherals and displays.

Questions about this item

How does the 12-core Ryzen 9 5900X perform once it is inside this desktop?

The 12-core Ryzen 9 5900X runs at a 3.70 GHz base clock and can boost to 4.8 GHz with 64 MB of L3 cache, giving strong multi-threaded throughput for gaming and content creation workloads.

What does the PCIe 4.0 interface on the RTX 3050 actually limit in this build?
