Purpose-built gaming desktop

The Velztorm Ferrux is a new gaming desktop PC built around a 12-core AMD Ryzen 9 5900X processor and a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card with 8GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with Windows 10 Home, 64GB DDR4 RAM and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. A 240mm AIO liquid cooler and 750W power supply support the black chassis.

12-core Ryzen 9 5900X processor

The CPU runs at 3.70GHz base with a 4.8GHz boost and 64MB L3 cache across 12 cores. This core count handles heavy multitasking, content creation and modern game engines without bottlenecking the graphics card. Buyers who need more than 12 cores for specialised render farms or virtualisation clusters should look elsewhere.

64GB DDR4 and 2TB NVMe headroom

The 64GB DDR4 configuration leaves headroom for large texture packs, multiple virtual machines and background streaming. The 2TB NVMe SSD holds a sizeable game library and project files with fast load times. Users planning 4K asset libraries or extensive RAID arrays will need additional storage.

Questions about this item

What does the 12-core Ryzen 9 5900X mean for gaming and multitasking?

The 12-core processor handles modern games and heavy background tasks like streaming or rendering simultaneously, with a 4.8 GHz boost clock for strong single-thread speed.

How does the PCIe 4.0 interface on the RTX 3050 affect performance?

The graphics card uses a PCIe 4.0 x16 link, so it will not be bottlenecked by the motherboard slot when moving textures and frame data at full speed.

Will the 240 mm AIO liquid cooler fit in a standard mid-tower case?

The system ships in a desktop chassis designed around the 240 mm radiator, so clearance and mounting are already validated for the included cooler.
