Built for high-thread workloads and 1080p play

This Velztorm Ferrux desktop pairs a 12-core Ryzen 9 5900X processor with 64GB of DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. A GeForce RTX 3050 with 8GB of GDDR6 handles graphics duties. The system ships with Windows 10 Pro and draws power from a 750W supply.

Suits creators and multitaskers who need many

Buyers who want more than 8GB of video memory or who plan to game at 1440p or 4K should look elsewhere. The single GPU and lack of wireless connectivity also limit appeal for portable or multi-display wireless setups.

The 12-core Ryzen 9 5900X defines the platform

Its 3.70GHz base clock and 4.8GHz boost drive the performance ceiling for rendering, compilation and heavy multitasking. The 64MB L3 cache and 64GB DDR4 support feed those cores, making the CPU the decisive specification for this build.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 240 mm AIO liquid CPU cooler and what step is often missed?

Mount the radiator with tubes at the bottom or side, secure the pump block on the Ryzen 9 5900X using the AM4 bracket, connect the pump header and fan headers, then fill the loop if it arrives unsealed — many builders forget to remove the protective film on the cold plate.

Which component will need replacement first under heavy gaming loads?

The 750 W power supply is the likeliest candidate; sustained draws near its limit age the capacitors faster than the 64 GB DDR4, 2 TB NVMe SSD or RTX 3050 8 GB GDDR6.

What thermal limit appears first during extended 4.8 GHz boost sessions?

The 240 mm AIO reaches coolant saturation before the CPU hits its 90 °C throttle point, so clock speeds drop once the liquid temperature stabilises near its maximum dissipation capacity.
