Ferrux II gaming desktop

The Velztorm Ferrux II is a pre-built gaming desktop powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900K processor with 16 cores and 24 threads. It pairs the CPU with a GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card featuring 16GB GDDR7 memory and 8960 CUDA cores. The system includes 64GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD running Windows 11 Home.

Sustained load behaviour

A 240mm AIO liquid cooler manages heat from the i9-12900K during extended sessions while the 750W power supply delivers stable current to the RTX 5070 Ti. Wi-Fi 6 AX200 and 2.5Gbps RJ-45 maintain consistent network throughput when streaming or downloading large game files. RGB fans provide additional airflow across internal components.

Upgrade context

This configuration replaces older desktops limited to quad-channel DDR4 platforms or PCIe 3.0 storage bottlenecks. The jump is worth it for creators who need 64GB memory capacity and GPU compute performance for rendering workloads. Buyers who want more storage bays or dual graphics card support should consider a different chassis design.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 240mm AIO keep the i9-12900K and RTX 5070 Ti during all-day gaming?

The 240mm AIO liquid cooler and RGB fans are designed to handle the i9-12900K up to 5.2 GHz and the RTX 5070 Ti 2.45 GHz boost clock, while the 750W PSU delivers stable power for sustained loads.

Which display cable do I need for the single DisplayPort output on the RTX 5070 Ti?

The graphics card provides one DisplayPort connector; you will need a DisplayPort cable or a DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter to connect your monitor.

Will my existing 2.5Gbps router and Wi-Fi 6 devices work with the built-in AX200 and RJ-45 port?

Yes, the desktop includes Wi-Fi 6 AX200 and a 2.5Gbps RJ-45 port, so it will connect at full speed to compatible routers and mesh systems you already own.
