Core configuration

The Velztorm Ferrux II is a new gaming desktop built around a 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900K processor with 16 cores and 24 threads. It ships with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. The system runs Windows 10 Home and includes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity.

Storage and graphics headroom

The 2TB NVMe drive provides ample space for a large game library and creative projects without immediate pressure to expand. The GeForce RTX 3050 with 8GB GDDR6 handles 1080p gaming and entry-level content creation, though higher resolutions or heavy ray-tracing workloads will exceed its comfortable frame-rate envelope.

Thermals and power profile

A 240mm AIO liquid cooler manages the i9-12900K under load, while the graphics card uses a triple-fan WINDFORCE design. The 750W power supply delivers headroom for the full platform. In typical gaming sessions the cooling keeps temperatures controlled and fan noise at a moderate level.

Questions about this item

Will my older monitor work with the DisplayPort output on this RTX 3050 card?

The system includes one DisplayPort connector on the GeForce RTX 3050 8GB GDDR6 GPU, so any monitor with a DisplayPort input can be used directly.

How can I verify the i9-12900K is running at its 5.2 GHz maximum turbo after assembly?

Open Task Manager or a hardware monitor in Windows 10 Home and watch the CPU frequency reach up to 5.2 GHz during a heavy workload.

Which cables and peripherals are included in the box versus what I must supply?

The desktop ships with a 750W power supply, 240mm AIO liquid CPU cooler, Wi-Fi 6 AX200 and Bluetooth 5.1 antennas, and Windows 10 Home installed; you must provide a monitor, keyboard, mouse and any additional USB devices.
