Ready-built AMD Ryzen gaming desktop

This Velztorm Gemmix system ships with a Ryzen 7 5700X eight-core processor, a Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card with 16GB GDDR6, 64GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and a 750W supply powers the build.

Practical limits of Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n

The integrated wireless adapter tops out at legacy 802.11n speeds, so crowded 2.4GHz environments will cap throughput well below modern router capability. A wired Ethernet connection is the only way to saturate a gigabit uplink on this machine.

Upgrade path from 16GB DDR4 and mechanical storage

Builders moving from 16GB DDR4 and a hard drive gain headroom for heavy multitasking and near-instant game loads. The jump is worthwhile when current RAM pressure forces paging or when level streaming stutters on spinning media.
