Core specification

This Velztorm Lux desktop is a pre-built gaming system configured with a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 5950X processor and a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card with 8 GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 64 GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1 TB SATA SSD, cooled by a 360 mm AIO liquid cooler and powered by a 1000 W supply. Windows 10 Pro is installed.

Who this suits and who it does not

The 16-core CPU and large memory capacity suit creators who render, compile or multitask heavily while still wanting a gaming-capable machine. Buyers who need more than 1 TB of internal storage or who require faster storage speeds than SATA provides should look elsewhere. The RTX 3050 targets 1080p gaming; those aiming for high-refresh 1440p or 4K play will need a higher-tier GPU.

Deciding specification

The graphics card is the component that defines the performance ceiling for gaming. With an RTX 3050 8 GB, the system delivers playable frame rates at 1080p with DirectX 12 and G-SYNC support, but it cannot drive demanding titles at higher resolutions or maximum detail settings.
